"Taking root downward, Bearing fruit upward"

Summer Has Ended

Posted on September 7th, 2016

Summer has ended and we are rejoicing over those who found the Savior through the ministries of Camp Bossier, Hosanna Baptist Church and Bible Conference services, SBTH summer extension, Hosanna Radio, and Salomon’s week of camp in the North—together are more than 180 professions!

Weekly, visitors who come to hear “the Senator” preach on Sunday morning walk the aisles to accept Christ. Two Sundays ago Pastor Dieupie was so fatigued that he doubted if he could stand up long enough to preach—but he did it anyway. The message was powerful; and upon finishing, he sat down immediately. In the front sat our CFO, Joshua, who signaled the song director to hand Pastor Dieupie the microphone as the closing hymn was announced. No sooner than Pastor made the invitation from where he was sitting, four women stepped into the aisle and came to accept Christ before the first stanza was finished. PTL. The Gospel continues a strong and effective work throughout Hosanna Ministries!

Sudden Loss Devastates

Annarose

Pastor Salomon’s sister, Annarose, only daughter and vibrant mother, compassionate nurse, home pharmacist, and community medical provider, beloved as “a mom for everyone,” died suddenly after laparoscopy surgery for endometriosis. The surgeon unknowingly cut her intestine during surgery and closed her up. She died several days later. While many are devastated, her unsaved father, who has refused the Gospel for years, is beside himself! Now he says he intends to drink himself into the grave because he cannot live with the pain of losing his daughter. Personally, we believe this blow is intended by God to bring this father to salvation. We are asking the Mission for Haiti family of prayer warriors to pray for Mr. Cadet’s salvation!!

Continue Praying—Radio Frequency Unresolved

Over the last couple of years, too many new radio stations have been created, often jamming each other’s airways because of the lack of government oversight. Due to this, our signal suffers from interference. Please pray that this matter can be resolved according to our specifics and we will be able to begin our construction on the mountain as soon as possible. Government agencies in Haiti transact business at one speed—SLOW.
