"Taking root downward, Bearing fruit upward"

Prayer letter – June and July 2025

June/July 2025

“It is of the Lord’s mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.

They are new every morning: great is Thy faithfulness!” (Lamentations 3:22,23)

Tom and I never cease to thank the Lord for each of you, our co-laborers, because of your faithfulness! We truly believe it’s because of your prayers that the Southeast is protected from the gangs. We praise God for what your prayers have accomplished to keep the Gospel alive and moving in various areas on the Island. We consider each one of you as God’s gift to MFH and Hosanna. Your loyalty to this ministry is huge, and we thank God for you!

Camp Bossier has begun, and we covet your prayers for the souls of these young people this summer. There are campers who come to us who are under the influence of evil spirits and who are held captive in sin. Please pray for the counselors and speakers – as well as the campers.  Our prayers are that the chains of sin that hold them will be permanently broken. Decisions that young people make at summer camps normally change their lives forever – praise the Lord!

We thank the Lord for the 24 men who recently graduated from Haiti’s Baptist Theological Seminary (SBTH). While most of these men already serve in small churches in the Southwest and Southeast, they had no pastoral training. Pastor Dieupie began the Seminary for the very reason to help pastors preach and teach the Word of God with accuracy and clarity.  The 16-year-old Seminary offers a four-year Bachelor of Arts degree and is the only fundamental seminary in the Southeast. We praise the Lord for His grace to Hosanna.

June 20-27 marks the 50th year of Hosanna Baptist Church’s annual Bible Conference. As God provides transportation, those attending will come from 17 sister churches across the Southeast. On the final three days attendees will come with their bedding and necessities to stay through the final service on Sunday. Hosanna has enjoyed these times of renewal and fellowship these many years.  God has been gracious to them.

Once again, we want to voice our thanks to God for you and your co-laboring with us in the work God has allowed Mission for Haiti to do in Haiti since its inception in 1947.

With Thanks to God for you,

Tom and Sarah Bennett
