November 2025

Dear Co-Laborers,

HUGE FEAR – CHANGED TO HUGE THANKS

The first week of this month, Hurricane Melissa was approaching the southern peninsula of Haiti! This news struck fear in our hearts because of our radio tower sitting on the top of a very high mountain and our beautiful camp situated right on the edge of the Caribbean Ocean. We sent out an SOS to our Sunday School class, to our church, and to our friends to pray that the Lord would change the direction of the hurricane – AND HE DID – PRAISE HIS NAME! However, there was much damage in surrounding areas. The main highway from Port-au-Prince into Jacmel, which parallels the ocean, was completely washed out for over half a mile. Another area on the northeast ocean side of the peninsula was hit very hard. The devastation was horrible. There are more than 40 dead and 15 still missing.

What God Has Begun – We Pray for His Completion

Back in 2018, a team of young people from Faith Baptist Church in Davison, Michigan, concluded their visit to Haiti with an evangelistic outreach effort in an unreached and remote mountain area of La Montagne, where Pastor D’s prominent witch doctor aunt lived. After Pastor D’s strong Gospel message, his aunt, to everyone’s surprise, was the first one to step forward to be saved. After her prayer to accept Christ she wasted no time insisting that the altar in her home, where she made satanic sacrifices, be immediately destroyed. Meanwhile, many others had come forward also and accepted Christ – and that day a church was born! One year later, a construction team arrived and built a church building. However, there was a big need for a school since there were no schools in the immediate area. The believers covenanted to pray for a school as they gathered a few construction materials little by little. Then God answered in a big way! Following a six year wait, Friendship Baptist Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, surprised us with a large gift that allowed three classrooms to be built. We praise God for this wonderful beginning! Please join us as we pray for the completion of this project.

Dear Co-Laborers, we wish to voice our deep thanks to you for laboring with us these many years. God has used you through MFH to accomplish a dynamic work both in the North and the South of Haiti since its inception in 1947 with our parents, the Bells. May God’s blessings flood your life continually!

With Thanks and Gratitude to God for you,

Tom and Sarah Bennett
